What is community cartel?
Hi, I’m Ian! I run a community and events business called Agency Hackers. I started it in 2017, and quit my job to go full time in 2020. We’re now a £1.5m business, with events in the UK and USA.
I started Community Cartel because I feel like I am making it up as I go along, and really need a way to meet other people who run professional communities.
I have so many questions occupying my brain 24/7: how do we stop people from cancelling their membership? What do people want from live events and conferences? How much should we charge for sponsorships? What should we offer as a community that people will actually pay for? What’s the best way to go international?
Arrghh! The list is endless!
